About

I am a quantitative political scientist whose research interests span political sociology, comparative politics, and behavioural science. My work focuses on LGBTQ+ politics, social and political identities, far-right parties and voters, and elections and campaigns.

I received my PhD in Political Science in 2020 from the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London.

I am very proudly a first gen student and I dedicate part of my time to mentoring other first gen students in their journey through university life. I am also very keen on normalising transparency on issues related to poor mental health in academia & talk about my own struggle with depression ( #ihadablackdog), anxiety, and the Velvet Rage openly. If you are in need of support, I am readily available to talk.

My forthcoming book, The Rainbow Vote, is under contract with Princeton University Press and is supported by Leverhulme Trust funding. The project examines the political behavior and attitudes of LGBTQ+ voters across multiple countries.

Research Highlights

My research has been published in leading journals including the American Political Science Review, British Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, European Journal of Political Research, and Political Science Research & Methods. Some of my research has been enjoyed coverage on BBC News, the Financial Times, the New York Times and the Guardian.
